1. What this is

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of easecolors.com (“Ease Colors”, “we”, “the site”): the interactive color wheel, image color picker, palette generator from images, and the 400+ curated palette gallery. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not abuse, disrupt or probe the site: no scraping that degrades service, no bypassing technical limits, no uploading malicious content via image inputs.
• Only open images you have the right to use. You are responsible for pasted image URLs and uploaded files.
• Do not misrepresent the site or imply endorsement by Ease Colors.
• Do not use outputs or the service for unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful purposes.

4. Images & your content

Images you open stay in your browser (canvas-local processing) — we do not receive, store or claim ownership of them. You keep all rights to your images and to palettes you derive from them, and you are solely responsible for ensuring you may use a given image. Pasted URLs are fetched by your browser from the source host; that host's terms apply to the fetch.

5. Intellectual property

The site's software, layout, copy, and the selection/arrangement of the gallery are protected as our work (and our licensors', e.g. fonts). The per-color facts (a HEX value itself) are free for anyone; wholesale copying, mirroring or republishing of the gallery compilation, articles or UI to create a competing service is not permitted without written permission.

6. No professional advice

Harmonies, contrast hints and blindness simulations are design aids, not guarantees of accessibility, legibility or brand suitability. Always verify contrast and usability in your real context and with assistive-technology testing before shipping.

7. Service “as is” & availability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind (express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement). We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Saved palettes and theme live in your browser's localStorage and can be lost if you clear site data — keep your own backups of important work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ease Colors is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed USD 50 or the amount you paid us (the service is free, so typically $0). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Third-party resources

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and fetches pasted image URLs from their source hosts. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. EyeDropper / screen-picking uses your browser's native API where supported.
